UNITED NATIONS -- Somalia's U.N. Mission said Friday that pirates hijacked a yacht carrying four U.S. citizens in the Indian Ocean off the Somali coast.

Time to call SEAL SIX.
Another chance for Obama to show the world... what a wuss he is. :-(
This reminds me a little bit of that movie ‘The life aquatic with steve zissou’. In that movie their boat gets hi-jacked by pirates but they end up fighting them off. Remember interns don’t get glocks! :)

Wrong turn?
I ain’t a betting man but i would put my money on they are libs.
I wonder if they were on their way to break the Gaza “blockade” with the Iranians?
Like last time? Hey look, I’m no fan of the guy, but I was a fan out the last outcome.
MANY wealthy folks are libs, and by default, don’t really understand the way the world works.
Only wealthy people that earned it tend to understand how things work, and therefore protect themselves and make smart moves.
I haven’t seen Captain Ron in a while. I know this situation is no laughing matter, but I bet a comparison could be made.
Agreed, when you do stupid stuff it is not up to the united states tax payer to bail your butt out.
Yep , call the seals, announce that the pirate regions of Somalia will be attacked and let the mass of people leave, and nuke it..
Trust fund babies - wouldn’t even be alive if breathing weren’t involuntary.
Nice!
Maybe because it’s one of the most-travelled areas in the world? Or maybe because it’s the only reasonable way to get between the south Pacific and the Med. Thousands of vessels transit there every day.
The Somali pirates operate within several hundreds of miles of Somalia. Pretty much the whole western half of the Indian ocean. Saying that it’s “dumb” to go there ignores the plain reality that it’s nearly impossible to avoid them in that part of the world.
But yes... If it were me I’d be armed to the teeth, hopefully with something long range that could keep them out of RPG range until the cavalry could arrive.
One would have thought they had learned their lesson with the previous SEALs.
I don't agree. I've seen no evidence that they did anything "stupid", but more to the point I think a big part of the mission of the U.S. Navy is to come to the defense of U.S. flagged vessels that are attacked on the high seas.
