I believe they only voted to stop DISCRETIONARY spending for Obamacare. The $100 bil in spending Nancy Pelosi stuck into the original bill marches on.

Drudge has a headline that says no funding for Obamacare either.

Excellent. Now on to the Senate, where it is so very much easier to reach out and touch each and every one of those jokers if necessary.
Thank you Lord.

“Senate can put it back in conference”
Not if the House holds firm. If House leaders say “we can’t sell a reversal on this critical issue to our members” they might get the Senate to waffle. It all comes down to who blinks first etc.

Health Care Reform
Waivers + Judge Vinson’s Ruling + States Opposition + Election Results + House Vote = This Thing is Going Down.
And taking Obama with it.

So is the funding cut off or does the bill have to pass other hurdles?

Hopefully they have the cajones to hold firm in the face of an Obama veto and a government shutdown. I pray they don't make the mistake republicans did in 1995 and cave the first time their approval numbers dip a few percent. They need to make it clear to Obama that they are willing to leave the government until after the 2012 election if necessary, but they're not going to blink first.

Let us all remember this wonderful day and realize that this GOP House is doing what they promised if elected. Sometimes we freepers, myself included, get critical when they don’t seem to be passing legislation fast enough. Today is a great day and the Republicans are figuring out that the people are in charge not Obama/Pelosi/Reid & Co.
