SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8 ) -- The taxicab driver who slammed into dozens of people in the Gaslamp Quarter is out of the hospital.

Based on San Diego county court records, below is a timeline of events, including citations News 8 found issued to Sam Hassan Daly (also known as Ossama Hassan Eldarandaly) since 2004:

Aug. 14, 2004 – Misdemeanor citation issued for battery in Pacific Beach. Records show the case was dismissed after alleged victim failed to testify in court.

Aug. 18, 2004 – Misdemeanor citation issued for driving the wrong way on Midway Dr. The case was reduced to an infraction then dismissed after Daly attended traffic school.

Jan. 2005 – A taxi driven by Daly rear ended a 1968 Mustang stopped at a traffic light on Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach. Four victims reportedly settled their claims with Daly’s insurance company. No charges were filed.

Oct. 25, 2005 – Misdemeanor hit and run arrest warrant and complaint filed after Daly sideswiped a vehicle on Interstate 5 in La Costa. According to court records: “When (Daly) was contacted by the other driver, (Daly) provided insurance information to the other driver, but refused to present his driver’s license and vehicle registration. (Daly) fled the collision scene prior to the CHP’s arrival.” A jury trial found Daly not guilty on the charge of hit and run.

May 8, 2009 – Infraction citation issued for unsafe speed for road conditions on Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach. Case was dismissed after Daly attended traffic school.

June 28, 2009 – Infraction citation for impeding traffic in Mission Beach. Guilty plea and charge was changed to non-moving violation of blocking an intersection.

Nov. 13, 2009 – Infraction citation issued for unsafe movement or lane change on Harbor Dr. Case was dismissed after Daly attended traffic school. (News 8 is currently seeking clarification as to why Daly was allowed to attend traffic school on this citation, since this citation was issued less than 18 months after his previous citation).

Sep. 11, 2010 – Infraction citation issued for allegedly picking up a fare in traffic in downtown San Diego. Case still open and pending in traffic court.

Sept. 24, 2010 – Infraction citation issued for allegedly running a stop sign in Sherman Heights. Case still open and pending in traffic court.

maybe his imam can explain the source of his rage

the unjust Bush wars of oppression against muslims, perhaps. The existence of Israel. The Crusades. And other reasons for justifiable rage.

Amazing record. Didn’t they get kind of tired of seeing him again and again in traffic school?

Did they ever bother to check his record before slapping his wrist again and again?

More interesting is what exactly caused him to go Jihaad?

Was it a phone call from a local Mosque? Was it events in Egypt? Or did he just see an opportunity to commit mass murder regardless of his own outcome?

I cannot rationally even for a second consider it was just a mistake, this was deliberate.

This is a prime example that America for a large part cannot understand, the Kumbaya singers still think they can open up their hearts, homes and jobs to Muslims and they will be normal people.

What will it take, a dirty radioactive bomb detonated at Disneyland?

sadly and unfortunately the mindset of the weak liberal society allows just for that to happen, yes they do show anger and a decent mindset for revenge, but at what cost?

Knowledge of very bad materials leaked over the weekend
in San Diego (or thereabouts), absolutely open borders,
and monsters like this encouraged to murder Americans.

THERE IS NOT ONE TESTICLE IN THE ENTIRE US CONGRESS.

I am sure other FReepers will tell you that when it first happened the MSM put a clamp on the drivers name.

And I only heard it was confirmed he was a Moslem just from these newer threads, but I knew from a gut feeling that it was a Muslim American Jihad incident.

New Evidence Revealed in Nightclub Crash

Daly is an Egyptian immigrant who worked as a doctor in his native country before taking a job driving a cab in San Diego.

Court documents indicate Daly has lived in San Diego for at least seven years and that his given name is "Ossama Hassan El-Darandaly." He changed his name to Sam Hassan Daly sometime since 2005.

Daly’s roommate, Dan Rose, told us Hassan has been having financial and personal problems.

The muslim driver was probably down on the floor of the taxi on his knees with his forehead pressed against the accellerator busily saying his prayers.

Let’s give these poor, misunderstood immigrants, not completely used to operating complicated machinery, the benefit of the doubt.

I haven’t heard anything definitive on his motive, but I’m afraid no one will investigate or report on it.
