This is wonderful news.

We have made astonishing progress with these state-level firearms freedom laws over the last few years.

Now I would like see a federal version, eliminating all federal gun control. Here's my proposal for its text:

Federal Firearms Freedom Act

1) United States Code Title 18, Part I, Chapter 44 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
2) United States Code Title 26, Subtitle E, Chapter 53 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

The first part repeals all of 922 and 923. The second part repeals the Internal Revenue Code related to 922 and 923.

We have to find a conservatives in both houses to slip these into a bill and get it passed with zero fanfare. I would love to see this get signed without anyone the wiser. Much like how Obamacare had so much hidden in it.

My version would go something like this...

Amendment to the Constitution:
The Executive, Legislative or Judicial branch shall not regulate in any way an individual’s right to keep and bear arms, nor shall any agent thereof deprive, deny or interfere with the Citizen’s right to keep or bear arms or the manufacture or sale or purchase of arms. Any employee, agent, officer, or judge of the federal government attempting to subvert this amendment shall, immediately upon conviction, be sentenced to death and shall be executed one year after conviction; any and all appeals of that employee must be heard and completed within one year of conviction.
