The media truly believed their own take on the Egypt situation - that this was another Berlin Wall type freedom celebration.
It was not - these people desire a muslim theocracy, and what Islam feels about westerners in no way compares with what Berliners were thinking back in 1991.
I hope the press has learned from this poor woman's experience, as well as that of other western reporters who were beaten.

By the way, did you listen to Rush yesterday? He was talking about that reporter who kept trying to find an Egyptian to praise barry instead found the opposite.
He ended his story about “how glad/elated they were” to have barry on their side, or something to that affect.
No matter how many times you hit them on the head, they refuse to get it!
