The Internal Revenue Service says it will need an battalion of 1,054 new auditors and staffers and new facilities at a cost to taxpayers of more than $359 million in fiscal 2012 just to watch over the initial implementation of President Obama's healthcare reforms. Among the new corps will be 81 workers assigned to make sure tanning salons pay a new 10 percent excise tax. Their cost: $11.5 million.

"The ACA [Affordable Care Act] will require additional resources to build new IT systems; modify existing tax processing systems; provide taxpayer outreach and assistance services; make enhancements to notices, collections, and case management systems to address and resolve taxpayer issues timely and accurately; and conduct focused examinations to encourage compliance," said the newly released IRS budget.

I don’t know what the hell tax collectors have to do with “health care” but it can’t be good for Americans.

But the law has been found unconstitutional, and the majority of the American people continue to not want it.

In my fantasy world, tanning salons and others targeted by this bill would withhold the new tax payment, noting that the law has been ruled unconstitutional, and win a summary judgement plus expenses for “malicious prosecution” in the inevitable but much later court case.

“...but it can’t be good for Americans.”

Just remember...

“ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” —JFK

ObamaCare is NOT about American’s healthcare. Its about how they’re NOT gonna get anymore healthcare...and they’ll pay twice as much to not get it...right to the Treasury...at the point of a gun.

It's in the bill. The "health care premium" which anyone who can't show proof of insurance must pay is enforced by the IRS.

Future generations will look back and say, "the Massachusetts colonists sacrificed their lives for less an offense to liberty than this.". Yes, they will.

This budget cutting is easy! I just found $359M in the 2012 budget that is wholly unnecessary.

I wonder if the Kenyan is familiar with the first Boston Tea Party, Lexington and Concord. IMHO, history is getting ready to repeat itself. We owe it to John Adams.

With the life-sapping stress of IRS agents hounding you 24/7 for money you don’t have, we will all need “free” healthcare ...

history is getting ready to repeat itself.

Well, if they do not TOTALLY pull the money plug on the communists and RINO's and cut about 2/3 of the total spending, this thing will fold in 2-3 years.

After dems and RINO’s pissing on Steve King's attempt to JUST cut bammy-care it is pretty clear there is no intention to do much besides a small slow down from the pubies and the communist dems are full speed ahead. They will stretch it out to 3-5 years by jacking taxes first, cutting Medicare out next and then confiscation of 401k type retirment funds and "means-testing” SS.

After that? The collapse begins, martial control attempted, then, internal war.

On top of that, I am not much of a believer that cutting 2/3 of the spending TOMORROW will stop it.

Bummer for the commies, they will be mowed down like fresh green grass.
