Turner continued speaking, ignoring Prices ongoing interruptions.
At that point, Jenkins adjourned the meeting.
As Price stood to leave, he looked at Turner and the five other citizens who addressed the court. Price said to them, All of you are white. Go to hell!
Price repeated go to hell three more times. An unknown member of the audience said, You should be ashamed!
Im not ashamed! Price answered. Im not ashamed! Go to hell!

you learn something new everyday... Price is there because of 'gerrymandering'... The word gerrymander (originally written Gerry-mander) was used for the first time in the Boston Gazette newspaper on March 26, 1812. The word was created in reaction to a redrawing of Massachusetts state senate election districts under the then governor Elbridge Gerry (pronounced /ˈɡɛri/; 17441814). In 1812, Governor Gerry signed a bill that redistricted Massachusetts to benefit his Democratic-Republican Party. When mapped, one of the contorted districts in the Boston area was said to resemble the shape of a salamander. The exact author of the term gerrymander may never be definitively established. It is widely believed by historians that Federalist newspaper editors Nathan Hale, Benjamin and John Russell were the instigators, but the historical record gives no definitive evidence as to who created or uttered the word for the first time.[1] The term was a portmanteau of the governors last name and the word salamander.

That's better than what I wanted to call him - more than once - while I was living in Dallas!
This man is about as useless as you can get! I would almost rather have Quanell X in Dallas than Price - useless race baiting POS! And those are his good qualities!

Context, please. Which city, which case? I shouldn’t have to click a link that takes forever to load, just so that I can find out what this thread is about. Sheesh.

It’s sad but the city of Dallas has elected thugs and racists for a long time. The city proper has probably a majority black and Mexican population. Most middle class people live in the surrounding cities and suburbs.
Dallas is in sad shape because of this and there doesn’t seem to be much hope for change.
John Wiley Price has always been a racist but never expressed it quite so well until today.

Sure, he’s a buffoon, but, unlike most politicians, Commissioner Price should be credited for honestly telling voters and other constituents what he thinks about their input when it disagrees with his own.
Also, I thought it was the conservatives that had a problem with “civility” in public debate.
To: mylife
Price is the moron that accused another county commissioner of being a racist for saying that things disappear in a county office like it was a black hole.
