Here’s another one, from a peaceful, Democracy-loving “protest” in Egypt.

So, you honestly think it’ll be around this time next year??

Hillary’s Fault!
Isn’t ‘She Who Shall Not Be Named’ in charge of this kind of stuff? Isn’t it HER job to say who can go where and when and why and that Americans shouldn’t go to certain places in case they put themselves in Harm’s Way or may cause an International Incident?

Thats stupid of CBS News.
It’s beyond stupid, it’s criminal. Who is running their news operation now? If they send a pretty female to the middle east, they had better send an army with her. Women are only a vessel in that culture. The more attractive they are, the more they are blamed for the evil thoughts they evoke in men. Maybe CBS thought they were going to another of Obama’s scripted rallies where women faint and union thugs hold pre-printed signs.

Nobody deserves what happened to her....But...There is no story in the square any more. What the hell was she doing there? What did she hope to find out except asking the assembled muzzies and thugs "How did you feel?" and other inanities?
So-called "journalists" insist on making the story about them. Isn't she the same "journalist" who got pregnant while covering Iraq?

I would disagree with that, she most definitely is responsible for what happened to her. What she did was the equivalent of walking naked down the street in the bad part of town where the gang bangers hang out. She set herself up for this by dressing in western clothes and going to a location where a near riot was happening with thousands of Muslim men (who are known to do this type of thing).I think she is ignorant in the same way that a lot of leftists are. They think because Egyptians use Twitter or other current technology that their culture is modern as well. It is similar to their belief that one can have "peace talks" with an enemy who wants you not just dead but really, really dead. It's why animals like Ahmadinejad get invited to speak at Columbia University. The root of the word ignorance is ignore. Theirs is willful ignorance.

This woman was described as appearing elated as she swam toward a polar bear at the Berlin Zoo in 2009. She evidently thought the bear was just a big fuzzy and friendly creature. She ignored its true nature and it mauled her.

Nothing but a rented mob. Whoever was paying the protestors a few dollars a day to be there is who's brand of democracy this will be. Think of the logistics, food supplies, sanitation facilities, crowd command and control, communications lines needed to do what they did in a sustained effort?
Somebody did a fine job as a community organizer. I'd give my right anything to find out who the architect, finacier, and organizer of this story was / is? Something tells me American unions, Marxists, and UN operatives are involved.

It was always a possibility that I would be raped in Afghanistan but you have to weigh up the probability of it. I was never foolhardy but I thought it all through and decided how I would cope if it did happen. If she still feels that way it would be beyond my comprehension.

Blonde, attractive, and uncircumcised is no way for a woman to enter an Islamic riot fueled by testosterone and 50,000 inmates released from prisons, who by the way have been pulling all nighters for a week. She was a non-believer, and having her for the taking is an Islam follower's duty.
You didn't see any sheep or goats did you?

This Lara Logan has big ambition. She’s already getting paid a million bucks a year for doing what? Experienced journalist my butt. She’s got a hot bod and big desires. That’s it. OK maybe she got roughed up by these moslem fanatics looking for their sharia democracy but I really believe Logan will milk this incident for all the publicity she can get out of it. It’s interesting...no news except the news is all about her...like all the news that’s put out about her and her affairs, etc.
Maybe now they will give her Katie Couric’s job. Don’t you think that’s what she’s after?

Personally I feel for her. But she was a news babe and she put herself on the firing line, in a place that has proved extraordinarily dangerous for MALE journos, and this is what happened. Why rape? Humiliation. Dominance. So I feel for her, but have no especial outrage. I save that for the American service men and women who have suffered similar fates. REPORTERS put themselves there for dubious reasons—I refuse to glorify them when it goes bad. She wasn’t there to report-she was there to create news. She did.
