Colorado and South Dakota can now join Wyoming in the ranks of disappointing setbacks on immigration this year.
South Dakota's version of Arizona's SB 1070 died in committee in the South Dakota House this afternoon. Republicans control the "State Affairs Committee" and account for 9 out of 13 of its members.
The brief AP report alludes to law enforcement agencies and "other groups" which "work with immigrants" that testified against the bill.
In Colorado, Rep. Randy Baumgardner pulled his version of the Arizona-style immigration law. He cited the burden that ACLU lawsuits would impose on Colorado taxpayers in a depressed economy.
Strangely enough, these concerns did not stop Baumgardner from visiting Arizona last year and grandstanding about his bill in the months before the midterm elections. He is hardly the first Republican to say one thing to voters and do another after safely being reelected to office. . . .

The states that pass the laws, will see the illegals will move to their states, whom have not passed any new laws
See what happens in the other states....
Obviously, the GOP is pro-Illegal Alien
Too many in the GOP are Free Trader Communists...and Free Trader Communists are Open Borders-Pro Illegal Alien.
The GOP is going to lose big in 2012 if they continue to pander to Illegal Aliens and their Hispanic KKK supporters
Yep! Taking a look at the current sellout on deathcare in DC by the GOP, certainly not the last...
