The Chinese and the Indians are hoarding it and on top of that there is a shortage we can expect clothing, sheets/towels everything that uses cotton to go up and I suspect a lot higher then current predictions.

Considering that corn has surpassed the $7/bu price and cotton prices are at a 150year high, who will win the battle for acreage?
My SIL raises carrots but last year with a new corn seed the test plot yielded 400+/bu acre. This year there will be less carrot acreage needless to say.
