Governor Dayton hired Kathryn Clark to head the state's trade office which is involved in international trade to the tune of 14-billion dollars a year. On the campaign trail in September, then-candidate Dayton promised to eliminate the Trade Office saying it was nothing but international junkets. His pledge to cut the office, he said, would save taxpayers 3-million dollars out of the budget. The Trade Office is still open and Governor Dayton hired Clark, his campaign finance chair, to run the office. Her annual salary is $90, 800....

I didn’t see the word “democrat” anywhere in the article. But I did see at the end that republicans are not happy about it. I assume not mentioning his party affiliation means he’s a dem.
He is. It’s more of a local story and we are painfully aware that he is a tax and spend ultra-left-winger......
But, I really think that Jay Kolls is not done with this story, knowing him......
Dayton will go down as the worst governor in Minnesota history. I soon expect to see billboards with pictures of Jesse Ventura saying “Miss me yet?”
Every politician hires friends and family. If this Governor pledged to get rid of the office, then he should make sure that this appointee is the last one to hold it with the responsibility to get it closed.

Do you notice, that when the local media describes him, they call him a ‘batchelor’?
If he were the same exact person, but a conservative, they would describe him as a ‘twice-divorced father of two’.
‘And a drunk, as well as a well medicated depression sufferer’.
I’d prefer to call him “inmate #247689”.
