Obama doesn’t appear to be in any rush to encourage the people to throw a marxist out of office.

Bolivia is landlocked. Egypt has the Suez Canal. Which one is more important to our strategic interests?

As scared as our politicians are of the TEA Party, think of their panic if they were confronted by the TNT Party.

Morales led his revolution in order to prevent the building of a natural gas pipeline to the sea. He said, hydrocarbons mean slavery, that Bolivians should turn to their authentic roots, by which he meant coca, which he said would lead them to freedom.
So.
Chavez supported the revolution, admonishing them to stay out of the hydrocarbons business.
So here they sit atop natural gas deposits, with rising food prices, rising fuel prices, which is exactly where anyone could have predicted they would wind up. What natural gas production they have was seized from the stockholders and is now government run. Good job. Works every time.
