Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) , a conservative libertarian group founded in 1960 at the estate of William F. Buckley....

Buckley was a "conservative libertarian?"

Not that anyone has ever heard of them anyway, but they should rename their organization to CDYAF, for "Completely Delusional Young Americans for Freedom."

“Not that anyone has ever heard of them anyway...”

Where have you been hiding for the past 50 years? No one’s ever heard of them? You didn’t happen to see the celebrations at the Reagan Ranch last week did you? The ones sponsored by YAF?

How is YAF ‘delusional’?

As a former member of the YAF (early 1970’s), I can say, without question, that you are 100% wrong about them.

We had (maybe) a dozen members at my college campus and we fought hard for CONSERVATIVE principles during a time when the other ‘students’ were waving Communist flags and worshiping Hanoi Jane.

What were you doing at that time?

Buckley was a "conservative libertarian?"

They're still calling themselves the "Young Americans for Freedom" fifty years later?

You never heard of YAF? It at the very least has some renown, and I was a lib until 11 years ago. I think I heard of it either through Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter.

“Not that anyone has ever heard of them anyway”

A lot of people have heard of them. I was a member in college many years ago. Never heard the term libertarian applied to them.

I can't completely agree with youy over the top statement, but this did give me concern:
“Who would have ever thought that we would see the day when YAF was more aligned with the Obama administration..."
They should have clarified that with something like "in this case."
