Yesteday, Rush had a caller that claimed that the unemployment was going down because baby boomers were retiring at record rates.
Well, that may be, but they are not leaving behind job openings. They are retiring because they are already unemployed and have little hope of finding another job. They are simply switching from unemployment to SS, as they become eligible.
