Thanks! I don’t know why I typed 137,000. I was guessing and was way off.

Perhaps it’s the fact that he blamed the TEA partiers for the shooting.

I can’t believe it either. Remember all the people that went to his office during the shamnesty debacle and ripped up their GOP membership cards?

Have to be 35 to be a Senator.
I think Bristol is a little shy of that age. . .though maturity-wise, she has grown much these past few years and is very well qualified, much more than ANY democrat.

I think Kyl has redeemed himself pretty well since then ... but for so many people to post here on this thread and only a handful of mentions ... Wow! Kyl caused a lot of consternation back then... People in the state were up in arms - almost literally over Kyl’s support for Amnesty. And anyone can google the old records.
If a zillion people across the nation had not called into the Senate (I believe it was June 28th) and literally caused the Senate phone system to melt down - WE WOULD HAVE AMNESTY and Jon Kyl would have helped it happen.

This is Arizona, I can't see any Rat taking this seat.
Kyl barely won re-election in 2006. The Dems went full court press on him and nearly beat him with one of their patented "liberal who sounds conservative" candidates.
Since then, we've had more "immigrants" registering as voters, more Californians fleeing their state (but not abandoning the stupid liberal policies which made it unlivable), and a "new tone" specifically directed at Arizona politicians, where anything even remotely sensible is labeled "hate speech".
This seat is very winnable for the Dems. Don't kid yourself that it's not.

Perhaps you need a western border fence as well as a southern border fence..

Every time I drive from Arizona to California, I'm stopped at the California border and a California inspector makes sure I'm not carrying any fruits or vegetables. When I drive from California to Arizona, I just go straight through the border. At 75 MPH instead of the silly 70 MPH that California insists upon.
