I know all about her father’s comment. I read that her husband commented as well.

Why does it have to be an “R” or a “D”... I would like to see a real INDEPENDENT CONSTITUTIONAL, SOCIAL, AND FISCAL CONSERVATIVE become a U.S. Senator.. but for now I am focused on the U.S. House so that we can get a grip on the purse strings and on the United States budget

I'm not at all bitter. If you don't see the hate messages from an unorganized group of Freepers post on this site, then I urge you to read posts carefully. They have picked out their targets and are entirely unreasonable when responding to anything they do are way.

There are some Freepers who present the very worst in conservative thought and manner.

No, the guy who posted shirtless pictures of himself in response to a Craigslist ad for romance. Wife and a 5-year-old son. Classic...

Shadegg would be much stronger than Flake in a general election campaign.

To be honest, either one of those 2 would make fine senators, and I would love for the day, to see both of them as senators from Arizona.

This should be considered an opportunity, to get some new blood, I really hope one of those 2 takes it, it would good, not just for Arizona, but for the country as well....

You were the one setting up her campaign committee, not her.

These guys need to know the gravy train is not permanent.

They could start by cutting all the fancy perks they have given themselves, like the full pension.

Why does it have to be an “R” or a “D”... I would like to see a real INDEPENDENT CONSTITUTIONAL, SOCIAL, AND FISCAL CONSERVATIVE become a U.S. Senator

Because every time a real INDEPENDENT CONSTITUTIONAL, SOCIAL, AND FISCAL CONSERVATIVE runs against an R and a D, the D wins. And when the real INDEPENDENT CONSTITUTIONAL, SOCIAL, AND FISCAL CONSERVATIVE runs with an R next to their name, they have a fighting chance. Example: Senator Rand Paul.

One of the big disappointments of the 1994 Republican Senate class is leaving. He will not be missed, but his successor may be much worse. It is AZ.

Kyl’s voting record is like Kay Bailey Hutchison. They vote right many times but hate doing so. Isn’t Kyl also an open-borers McPain type?

I disagree the APPROVED REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE does not allow INDEPENDENT CONSTITUTIONAL, SOCIAL AND FISCAL CONSERVATIVSES to debate them in a REPUBLICAN PRIMARY...

Example: Marco Rubio vs. Dr. Escoffery

Our ONLY hope is NO PARTY AFFILIATION INDEPENDENT CONSTITUTIONAL SOCIAL AND FISCAL CONSERVATIVES in 2012 !

SJL only gets elected Senator when the whole state of Texas becomes as brain dead as her congressional district.

Here’s a related thread. I would like to see Governor Brewer run, but I don’t think that she’s interested.

Actually, it is Dean Martin ~LOL~ He is a fiscal conservative, was our State Treasurer who ran for Governor until Brewer signed SB1070 and the writing was on the wall so he dropped out rather than torpedo his career in the state (unlike the jerk that stayed in as the spoiler in the McCain./Hayworth race). Before that he served in our state senate.

His wife and newborn baby died in 2009 from childbirth....... He is likeable and generally well-liked. Has a degree in business management.
