How this fine fine state goes about its affairs is always a sight to behold.
It just leaves your fingers all sticky.

That dopey Stupak charade about abortion in ObamaCare convinced any true Christian Democrat that in fact their party works for Satan. Those “Catholic” holdouts will burn in the fire for their posturing; others will flee Satan’s Army now that the scales have fallen from their eyes.

Patriots are coming forward to battle the fascist scum infesting our Whitehouse. Welcome Mr. Chaney.

Wow, this trend is really strong. It bodes well for 2012, although a lot can happen in two years.

The dam continues to break in my home state. If it manages to wash out Mary Landrieu, I’ll be doubly happy.

Are they just political opportunists or new RINOS or real converts? Keep your eyes on them.

Guess this kinda negates the loss of NY rep. Chris Lee who resigned today.

No, this is a internal Lousiana state rep.
And just because Chris Lee resigned, it doesn't mean a Democrat replaced him. The seat is vacant.
Also, in California, Congresswoman Jane Harman (D) resigned two days ago. So Chriss Lee (R) and Jane Harman (D) cancel each other out.

At the time, Stupak said ‘I trust Obama’ ( in reference to Obama’s promise to take abortion funding out of Obamacare). At the time I wrote, ‘I hope that sentence will be Stupak’s political epitaph’. Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Hopefully the Dems who fell for Obama’s ‘charm’ are realizing that they voted against the majority of Americans. I wish we could have a redo on that House vote now.

One assumes he is the very first Republican Bubba.

All the Louisiana registered Democrats I know vote republican. They grew up in the days from which the Democratic primary was the election as no republican ever got elected. With the closed primaries if you were not a registered democrat you had no say so in the election process.

Don't get faked out because he switch parties. He will revert back to his true roots if the situation calls for it. I would not accept him into the party - let him die on the vine when the conservative beats him out next term.

And I didn’t hear about State AG Buddy Caldwell till now (not a surprise). Landrieu is the last rat standing statewide.
Isn’t there another Special election for a State Senate seat coming up?
