To me the issue is more the appropriateness of a sitting US Congressman behaving this way. I said that he could “survive” this as a single man because he can make the case, nowadays, that he can have a personal, private life.
But there is still something unseemly about someone at his age acting like a 20 something kid, especially in his political position. Even if he were single. I think many would call for his resignation but he might survive. That was my point.
But since he is married, resignation is a no-brainer.
Exactly. This is the type of behavior I’d expect from the “Hot or Not” demographic, not a middle-aged member of Congress.
