We here at the Tea Party Express are so very proud to bring you an historic Town Hall event TONIGHT that will bring Members of Congress together with tea party activists nationwide for an interactive forum on tea party issues.  Read below to find out how you can participate.

The Tea Party Town Hall will use cutting edge technology provided by TeaPartyHD to connect tea party supporters across the nation with elected leaders who are supportive of the movement.  This unique event will feature a live studio audience from the National Press Club in Washington, DC, as well as many thousands of participants who will watch and participate online via Twitter, FaceBook, webcam and chat.  

This historic event is a forum where tea party activists share their ideas, ask questions, and express their concerns with the Members of Congress who stand united with the tea party movement on the core principles and values of the tea party platform.

The Tea Party Town Hall will be broadcast LIVE tonight, February 8th at 7:00 pm on www.TeaPartyExpress.org.  

Confirmed guests are Senator Rand Paul (KY), Senator Mike Lee (UT), Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN), and Congressman Steve King (IA), all who are part of their Tea Party Caucuses formed in the Senate and the House.

The Tea Party Express (www.TeaPartyExpress.org), one of the largest national tea party groups, is once again teaming up with new media experts Tea Party HD (www.TeaPartyHD.com) to host a first-ever Tea Party Town Hall that will bring members of Congress together with tea party activists nationwide for an interactive forum on tea party issues.

The Tea Party Town Hall will use cutting-edge technology to connect tea party supporters across the nation with elected leaders who are supportive of the movement.

Hi Friends!
We are attending the Tea Party Town Hall this evening, but right now we are playing all the rest by ear. We can't let ourselves get into trouble with bad roads for our drive home so keeping an eye on the weather too. Might be pulling out of DC earlier than planned, but will be staying long enough to see the Blogger of The Year, Javier Manjarras receive his award on Friday at CPAC! Really want to go to Walter Reed on Friday evening, but have to see what the weather does.

Here is an email just recieved from Amy Kremer, Chairman of the Tea Party Express:

Dear Friends,

Over the past several months, U.S. Senator Dick Lugar (R-Indiana) has time and again criticized the tea party movement.

More than 70 tea party leaders even sat down with Lugar to get him to understand what this movement is about, and the kind of principled leadership we expect from our representatives.

Today Dick Lugar went even further telling the media that tea party activists need to "get real" simply because they expressed their opposition to the new START treaty that Lugar voted for.

Enough is enough - Dick Lugar voted for the bailouts.  He then voted against the bill that would have refunded the unused TARP bailout funds back to taxpayers.  He voted for the big government SCHIP program.  He criticized those who were opposed to earmarks.  He supports amnesty.  He was given the grade of "F " by Gun Owners of America.

As we here at the Tea Party Express prepare to unveil our Target List for the 2012 elections, it is clear that someone like this needs to go - Dick Lugar has become the epitome of what is wrong in Washington, D.C.

If you agree, then we need your help.

We need to build a massive warchest to win more campaigns for constitutional conservatives, and defeat people like Dick Lugar.
