The White House won’t take the bait on Sarah’s Palin’s latest criticism, in which she said President Obama’s response to the crisis is Egypt was like a 3 a.m. phone call that was ignored.
“This is that 3 a.m. White House phone call,” Palin said on CBN’s The Brody File, reviving an image from the 2008 campaign. “It seems that that call went right to the answering machine, and nobody yet has explained to the American public what they know ... and surely they know more than the rest of us know who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak.”
Asked about Palin’s statement, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs admitted to reading it over “several times,” but he said he didn't know what she meant.

In watching the talking heads starting with Morning Joe that was the mantra of the day, “What was she talking about, it made no sense” heard it on MSNBC Fox and CNN.

You see, Bob, it's like this. Back during the 2008 DemocRAT primaries, Hillary Clinton was one of Obama's opponents and she said at one of the debates......oh, forget it......it's not worth the trouble.

Liars. You bet they remember the whole “Who do you want answering the White House phone at 3 in the morning?” thing from the ‘08 elections. They know very well what Palin was talking about.
Read the full transcript of her answer and she makes perfect sense. But the press purposely cut and pasted an unclear extract of her comment. And, obviously, Gibbs ran with that.
I thought Gibbs was being replaced.
When is that supposed to happen?
They have to dig up Bozo the Clown, get some DNA and clone him first...
