The good news is that Obama is only at 42%. A solid conservative candidate will crush the boy marxist.

It will come down to Palin or Obama
These people need a hard lesson. maybe hyperinflation and a dust bowl with food rationing would teach the people in this poll their lesson.

This is more proof of global warming, I notice a strong correlation between historical global temperature records and these polls.
Deniers need to stop it, it is settled science that everyone hates Sarah. /Sarc

Tennessee is stupid.
Nobody should trail Obama there.

Her poll numbers are really pitiful. It'd be 1964 all over again.
Run DeMint, run!

"Obama's support was strongest among black respondents, 80 percent of whom said they would vote for him," That's interesting, especially considering Obama received over 95% of the black vote in the election.

I love the uncommitted style of writing. Palin is “fairly” radioactive to “some” voters. Doesn’t read like a strong news article, just a weak opinion piece.

Red TN, now that’s a laugh. Its my observation the people of TN are very conservative when it comes to paying taxes but very liberal when they’re on the receiving end of govt $. In their ‘favor’ they’re no different than the rest of the country.

Unimpressive survey. It takes 1,000 people to make a significant sample within 2-3% of reliability. No serious statistician would give this sampling an ounce of consideration. Nashville is more liberal in thought, and Vanderbilt is centered there. This is propaganda.
FR deserves better than this type of nonsense.

"red Tennessee"
Tennessee ain't Communist, and this poll is pure bull$hit.

I take it you are not a fan of Gov Palin (sarc)?
I guess you cannot support Congressman Bachmann either since her poll numbers (now) show her nowhere close.

The Vanderbilt University poll surveyed 710 people, according to The Tennessean newspaper They polled 710 blacks and faggots in Memphis, and this was the worst they could do?
Consider the source.

Thanks, Pissant, for the best news about Palin’s candidacy all day. With all the negative media dumbeat, she is only 5 LOUSY POINTS down to the Won? Wow, this is going to be more fun than I thought. 0bama is going down.

Not registered voters, not even adults, but 710
people.
That's some methodology there.
