I also run all of my engines(snowblowers, chainsaw, string trimmers, hedge trimmer) dry.

I have had to rebuid and replace 2 carbs.

I have replaced fuel lines.

I always put fuel stabalizer in the 2 gallon can I use for the small engines.

I have a buddy who turns off his fuel at the tank and drains the bowl on the carb after every use of his snowblower.

Yet, the EPA in its infinite wisdom , has decided to increase the ethanol limit to 15%.

Just run 91 octane Premium. It is mandated in many states that it HAS to be non oxygenated no ethanol added.

I run it in my boat and all my small engines. It's very good for the valves and runs cleaner and I have no mechanical problems or unnecessary maintenance.

Draining the carb if you are planning on over-wintering an engine is a MUST!!

I’ve repaired two small engines for neighbors (both mowers) that had the fuel feed to the jets blocked by corrosion in the bowl. And it was condensation/ethanol that caused them both.

It’s not all that hard a fix at all, but how many times do people hafta get smacked upside the head before they realize they don’t like to get smacked upside the head?
