I've been expecting the tendrils of creeping PC to snake their way up there for about fifteen years. Every time I go home, I tell myself it's only a matter of time before some militant, urban I-95 POS feigns some contrived indignation and tries to re-engineer the culture and history of the region to their liking. Looks like that day has arrived. And I hope my folks up there have the huevos to chase them all the way back down to the Bay. At musketpoint, if need be.
