The problem is, conservatives establish nice communities, schools, business districts. Before long liberals come running our way to escape their own policies and constituencies. Just like pests at a picnic, no matter where you go they are certain to follow. And they will eff it up, no matter what. It happens everywhere, it’s not a fluke, it’s the inherent nature of liberalism. FAIL
The cities are the problem in nearly every state...
Check out the list. I know Washington has a big problem called Seattle, but there is no way it is worse than Massachusetts. The author criticizes open carry in the state, but getting a CCW license is easy and they allow reciprocity with Utah, one of the easiest states to get a non-resident CCW license from. High sales tax, but no income tax. Property taxes are nothing exceptional, either. I would be paying at least double the property taxes in Texas.
Conservative make where they are, better.
“if you isolate Chicago, the rest of the State isnt that liberal....”
....your point is well taken....same thing goes on in Maryland where the large urban vote overwhelms the rest of the state....this is going on all across the country and the big cities look more and more like street scenes out of “Blade Runner”....and the Dems know this, and haul the urban masses to the polls to stay in power.
Did you know the only State that didn’t have at least one county voting for Obama in 08 was Oklahoma?
if you isolate Chicago, the rest of the State isnt that liberal....
if you isolate Detroit, the rest of the State isnt that liberal....
if you isolate Madison, the rest of the State isnt that liberal....
if you isolate Minneapolis/St Paul, the rest of the State isnt that liberal....
See a pattern?
Probably the employment rate. Why not Idaho? It is pretty nice there if you can get a job.
I went to a funeral in South Alabama of a soldier who was killed in Iraq and asked someone if the Westboro Baptist Church protestors were going to show up? The reply I got was they wont come to South Alabama because they know they might disappear.
My iPad,too. It’s not the best site.
I live on Illinois-Wisconsin border and completely agree that Illinois is a travesty for conservatives. But disagree in regard to Wisconsin. The state has a liberal heritage and Madison is definitely whacked out, but there are glimmers of hope. Wisconsin just sent Russ Feingold into retirement and it’s the home state of Paul Ryan. The Tea Party is coming on strong there. Much better for conservatives than say Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, etc.
Come on down farther south of Indy. Maybe not the best variety of jobs but the cost of living is much lower. Just try to avoid living in the Peoples Republic of Bloomington. Serious nanny staters there.
North Carolina says, “Illinois, we see your 5% and raise you 1%, cause we pay 6% to 7.75% in this bastion of dimwitted Democrat voters.”
Where I live we also pay 8.25% sales tax and the State is still almost $4 billion in the hole.
That’s why I’m moving to God’s Waiting Room, Florida.
That’s the slowest-loading site I’ve seen in ages.
We colored NH RED during the last election wasn’t even that hard.
North Carolina has been infiltrated with Yankees from the North.
Brown County is nice- maybe a little touristy, but still nice.
