Come on down farther south of Indy. Maybe not the best variety of jobs but the cost of living is much lower. Just try to avoid living in the Peoples Republic of Bloomington. Serious nanny staters there.
Brown County is nice- maybe a little touristy, but still nice.
Agreed! I live out in BFE 10 miles west of Columbus - great place to live. The left wing wackos are few and far between.
If a ‘Rat gets elected around here it is because of that Democrat legacy vote — the same one that sent Baron Hill to the Hall of Shame.
Interesting thing about Columbus is that the largest employer in the area is Cummins Engine Company — with the requisite union — yet all offices except the Mayor go Republican by an average vote of 65% - 35%. The Mayor thing here is the Mayor is an ex-cop, very personable, knows everybody and is retiring in 2012 — next up — a Republican Mayor.
