I live on Illinois-Wisconsin border and completely agree that Illinois is a travesty for conservatives. But disagree in regard to Wisconsin. The state has a liberal heritage and Madison is definitely whacked out, but there are glimmers of hope. Wisconsin just sent Russ Feingold into retirement and it’s the home state of Paul Ryan. The Tea Party is coming on strong there. Much better for conservatives than say Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, etc.
I’m in southern WI, 25 miles from Madi-stan.
I am still overjoyed that we sent Russ Feingold packing, elected Scott Walker governor and took control of the state legislature.
It was a miracle. Victory was a long time coming, and we finally have hope of turning this Tax Hell around.
