"Just because somebody conducts a transparent smear campaign against you, that doesn't obligate you to do anything."

I don't see it as obligation, I see it as opportunity. Those who participated in the smear campaign are sitting ducks and many like me would love to see Sarah Palin have one of them for dinner.

That Sarah has not sent out a few lawsuits reflects on her being a much smarter player than I. Maybe picking up the monetary damages would not be worth the trouble. I for one would not care about the monetary gains. I would savor the moment of taking one of the Lamestream Media's overpaid talking heads out on a platter.

All the evidence indicates that Sarah has done extremely well at recognizing and exploiting "opportunities."

What evidence is there that you know better than she does which "opportunities" to exploit?
