As bad as Denver is, Boulder is even worse. All the hippie commune types are drawn there like flies to honey. My cousin is one of them, I'm sorry to say.
I hope Sarah decides to rent a hall near Denver and organize her own charity gala for our brave fighting men & women and their families. They've endured incredible hardship and sacrifice in defense of this great country of ours. Sarah, please don't let them down.

Why aren’t these people doing the threatening hunted down, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
These are not idle threats.
The threats are physical harm with the intent to silence speech.
This is not just about assualt or a random act of violence from a nut case.
These are real threats, real tactics by a large group of people.
Hunt them down, arrest them, and prosecute them for crimes against the American people and crimes against humanity.
To answer your own question, you need to do two things, both include the ability to read and listen: 1. Observe who is making the threats,i.e. their political beliefs, and their political leaning.2. Who the threats are made against. To illustrate: Tell Bill Clinton you do not wish to shake hands with him and one is arrested. Encourage the assassination of President Bush and make motion pictures depicting his assassination, nothing happen to those. Advocate publicly for the killing of Donald Rumsfield{sp?] nothing happens.
No, I am sorry. This is up to the folks planning the events, this is up to Sarah Palin herself. She is either for freedom of speech and against intimidation or she is not. And she just loves to make a show of the victim card.
Demand Justice, demand the rule of law. This is not about “expectations,” it is about the full integrity of our country.

In fact, I cant recall a time in my life when I have been angrier than I am now. You have canceled the appearance of Sarah Palin - a true patriot if ever there was one. Why? Because a few left-wing nuts are saying mean things about her or people who support her (like ME and my entire family). WHAT COWARDS!! WHAT GUTLESS, MISERABLE, SNIVELING COWARDS!! You should be ashamed to call yourselves Americans! Sarah Palin (and her family) has endured completely baseless and unfair smearing and personal attacks by people who are nothing more than socialists and statists (and worse) who want to fundamentally "transform" our country (and some of them are Republicans). Someone like Palin comes along and speaks truth to these very evil people, speaks about our founding principles, speaks about smaller, less intrusive government as our Founders envisioned, speaks about the greatness of "We The People," and the left wants to destroy her at all cost. Why? Because she threatens the grip their bony fingers have on power and control in this country.
What you have done by canceling Sarah is to say to these totally evil people: You win!! You have sent a message that all the left needs to do is continually throw out lies and smears that have no basis in fact whatsoever (like the media onslaught trying to pin the Arizona shootings on Sarah with ZERO evidence), and people like you and your organization will cower in fear and silence the voices of people like Sarah Palin, voices that desperately need to be heard in a country that is going to hell in a hand basket under the current Constitution-hating, people-ignoring administration.
You hold yourselves out as supporting military families? You should take a poll of those who are now or have served in the military and ask US how we feel about Sarah Palin! You will find that a majority of the military love and respect her and feel like a slap in her face is a slap in our face! We are her family and we get angry when our family is unfairly mistreated. All the evidence indicates that Sarah has done extremely well at recognizing and exploiting "opportunities."
What evidence is there that you know better than she does which "opportunities" to exploit?
Heh...the cowards pulled my Facebook comment, telling them that they should be ashamed of themselves.
I discussed with a friend last night the WHY of Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome, here is what we came up with:
1. After the RNC Speech they were scared shiftless that she was able to “Energize the base” 1000X as much as their toadie Juan McCain, and this became a threat and thus became their “public enemy #1”.
2. She doesn’t prescribe to the their ideal of “Institutional Liberal Feminism” and thus is seen as a “Heretic” in the eyes of the “Religion of the 60’s radical Feminist”.
3. She is seen as a threat to the “Pro-Choice” movement, specifically the “Pro-Abortion” Radicals who inhabit that organization because of her willingness to actually have the audacity to give birth and care for a child who has Downs Syndrome instead of just aborting it like the genetic councilors ie. eugenicists prescribe.
4. The Love/Hate paradigm. Before Sarah Palin was nominated for VP she was a bit of a Hero in the minds on some of the left, but for all the wrong reasons. They Loved her for taking on the “Good Ol’ Boys Network” in Alaska performing a good olde fashioned house cleaning and dealing with the political corruption surrounding the oil companies who had bought off the RINOs in Alaska. She was actually doing these things because it “Was the right thing to do” and because it was the Conservative thing to do. The lefties thought she was doing it out of “Social Justice” because it involved punishing Republicans ie. (RINOS), but it was just Plain(Palin) Justice. When she accepted the VP nomination, those on the left who liked her saw it as a complete betrayal and when they realized what her true conservative ideals were, they went from Love straight to Hate and Loathing because they were ashamed they “loved her before they hated her”.
Those are my theories on why Palin Derangement Syndrome exists.
Oh, but you forgot....it depends on the definition of “civility” just like it depended on the definition of “is” a few years ago...
