Should not an English-as-a-second-language instructor be teaching something like, oh, say, English instead of holding a Spanish-for-native-Spanish-speakers class and abetting them in publishing a newspaper for spanish speakers only?

Also note that the little dears slipped in the word "gringo" which, last I heard, was pejorative.

I understand New Brunswick is officially bilingual, French and English.
