Denmark cartoon trial: Kurt Westergaard attacker jailed

A Somali who attacked the home of a Danish cartoonist who caricatured the Prophet Muhammad has been jailed for nine years by a Danish court. Mohamed Geele, 29, was convicted on Thursday of attempted murder and terrorism after his attack last year on Kurt Westergaard, 75. Mr Westergaard avoided injury by sheltering in a panic room ....[SNIP]............ Living in the city of Aalborg, he was involved in a youth club, where he became a role model for others, former club worker Nuuradiin Hussein said. "He was one of my favourite boys at the club," said Mr Hussein, now a social worker. "Most of the boys his age wanted to talk about girls and football, but he wanted to talk about the future and about getting an education." At some point, however, Geele developed links to Somalia's Islamist movement Al-Shabab, according to Danish intelligence.

HE was shot while being arrested after having flung his axe at an officer. The Dutch police need more range time.

Nine years? And then deportation. They should have deported half of him now and half later.

I was thinking about what had happened to the Dutch movie director,Theo van Gogh, ,who had beem stabbed in the chest and shot in public by one of these crazy Islamofascists, and about Geert Wilder who is leading the civic battle against Islamofascism in Holland.
