Earlier today we reported on the attacks of Fox News journalists Greg Palkot and video journalist Olaf Wiig that sent them both to the hospital with “fairly grave” injuries . Mediaite has learned that upon being rushed the hospital, Palkot and Wiig were both detained by military police and accused of being Israeli spies. A source with knowledge of the situation says that Palkot was blindfolded throughout the ordeal.
It was an exceptionally nerve wracking 24 hours at Fox News, according to our source, with a flurry of calls being made behind the scenes as a small team of executives were on pins & needles throughout. We’re told both Palkot and Wiig have been in touch with executives there who were relieved to hear their voices, although both are said to be extremely shaken and are only operating on adrenalin at this point.

Thank God Palkot will be OK..he is a damn good journalist. Maybe now the media here in America will FINALLY wake up and realize that there is no such thing as a “Peace loving Muslim” They are all the same, rotten to the core

I just wish Fox could get their terminology straight. In the same sentence practically they said their condition was “fairly grave” but they were released from the hospital.
In medical circles, “grave” means circling the drain, likely to die. “fairly” isn’t really an adjective you’d add to it. Someone in “grave” condition wouldn’t be released and talking to people a few hours later.

That sure doesn’t sound like the action of a “pro Mubarak thug”.
Maybe I don’t know what fairly grave injuries are, but it sounds damn serious to me.
I don’t have sympathy for the journalists. They knew what was happening hop a plane go there for ratings. Then feign Shock that it’s violent!
Of course they having been claiming the American citizenry are just Islamaphobes..I think they started believing the Obamedia talking points and forgot what Islamic countries are...
I call BS on the Journalists. Anderson Cooper fully knew amd then went back for more! Oh and in the middle of it all Hillary C says, cmon Muslims, fight, riot, but leave the ‘journalists’ alone...WHATEVA

Clearly Palkot is a FOX spy - by definition.
There’s something very wrong with the reporting out of Egypt anyway. Its like they’ve forgotten the reporting they did last week and are now telling a different story.
I even caught a CNN reporter claiming that they have heard no anti American or anti Israeli sentiment from the “freedom fighters”. I can find video from just the other day when they were saying they hate Mubarak because he supports Israel and they hate America and Israel.
Tonight that idiot Shep Smith is making comparisons between Egypt and the American revolution.

He was hit at least ten times in the face, so he must have severe injuries to his face.
