Perhaps Texas should enter the bidding for the USS Iowa. As a museum ship, of course.

I can just see the Texas messageboard traffic now, filled with propellant/projectile suggestions for the 16-inch guns. Anybody got a really big metal-turning lathe?

The Texas is docked at Houston already.

It isn’t the Iowa but it has guns
