He is one of the most jingoistic absurd rants. He is now claiming the poor rioters are just after food.

Shep is an idiotic fool.

But the average egyptian IS without food, as these riots started as food riots because there is terrible unemployment and inflation. The political stuff is being injected into the grassroots survival message by the islamists and now it is a horrible mess that is making it even worse for the average egyptian that still has no food, no money and no job, and now no chance of getting any because a civil war is going on.

These “poor” rioters timed this perfectly. Prevented monthly pay, looted and closed Banks, shops. This is what I hate about other systems. They keep people in line by making FOOD a tool of control.

WE should be watching for this type of activity here. $200 a barrel of oil should speed up that tactic here.

When people are unemployed AND can’t AFFORD food. What happens?

Maybe the dirty bomb AlQaeda is getting for a Nuclear 9-11 will wake the slumber of the American People.

You just reminded me about something I read a few weeks back warning of rioting in the Third World due to a jump in food prices. I wish I could remember the analyst who called it.
