The concept that the government could or should only “allow” certain people to have guns stands the very concept of American jurisprudence on its head. It presumes that the government knows all, controls all, and should be doing so. It is wrong and ineffective.

It is crazy to set up a huge expensive bureaucratic system, require everyone to jump though hoops and prove that they are *not* criminals in order to try, ineffectively, to prevent the few individuals who are not responsible, from having legal access to guns. This is a failed paradigm, and it should be abandoned. To accept the idea that the all gun sales should be monitored by the government, and only allowed to those it deems satisfactory is fundamentally wrong.

The entire idea of the enterprise has always been the death of a thousand cuts, where the restrictions on who can buy, and where, and how and what are continually increased until the number of gun owners is reduced to political insignificance.

This pocket Napoleon is one of the more arrogant little dictators in American History.

He and his buddies Schumer, Lautenberg, Menendez, and KIrstin Gillibrand are public enemies and menaces to the Republic.

In Gillibrand and Bloomberg’s case, even their sexuality is questionable. I noticed Gillibrand has apparently eschewed her sexpot image used when she ran for office for a Ellen Degeneris style hairstyle.

I was under the impression that non-residents of a state were forbidden under federal law from purchasing handguns and rifles from another state that they did not reside in and furthermore it was a felony offense to then transport said weapons across that states boundaries. I was also under the impression that even LEO’s were not exempt from those very same laws. Apparently I seem to be mistaken.

Thank you Mayor Bloomberg for your irresponsible and illegal (imo) action which surely showed the good people of Arizona the folly of indulging the vile delusions that the nanny staters and left were trying to spin after the Tuscon incident.

“...a loophole in federal gun laws allowed them to buy the guns without a background check...”
-
File this under “Repeat the lie often enough...”.
Truth is there is no loophole.

“...two gun vendors illegally sold guns to “buyers” who confessed that they probably wouldn’t pass a background check...”
-
And just who were these “vendors”?
FFL dealers or private individuals?

Ooh, Bloomberg's going to remember that when he's President!

And that will also be a really, really cold day in Hell.

Mayor Bloomberg's administration hired private investigators to illegally purchase guns at a Phoenix gun show last week.

Since Bloomberg didn't notify anybody in Arizona that he was doing this sting operation, how come he, or at least his people doing the illegal purchasing, aren't being held in a detention center somewhere?

If we aren't going to enforce laws on the books then lets get rid of them.
