Way back in 2009, a guest on David Shusters MSNBC program referred to the investigation of former President Bill Clintons affair with Monica Lewinsky thusly:
And your idea is that after investigating Bill Clinton for a blowjob for like five years, we shouldnt investigate the huge, grossly illegal things that were done under the past administration.
This afternoon, it happened again, and it was an anchor that said it.
Dylan Ratigan was comparing the costs of various federal investigations, and he noted that the most expensive oneat more than twice the cost of the 9/11 commissionwas the Clinton/Lewinsky investigation, or as he called it:
The Clinton/Lewinsky blowjob investigation.
In 2009, Shuster apologized for his guests poor choice of words, it does not appear as though Ratigan did the same.
For the record, MSNBC is not a broadcast network, so the FCC cannot regulate the content it puts on the air. In other words, what Ratigan said was legal, but probably not appropriate for 4:45 PM on a weekday.
Yep. It was all about sex...
And Chrissie and Rachael.....
The left-wing lies about the Clinton scandal never change. They still pretend President Bill Clinton was impeached for engaging in an illicit sex act in the White House. A lie. We all know that he was impeached for lying to a Grand Jury about his sordid affair with an intern (Monica Lewinsky) and that the only reason the investigation took so long is Clinton's lack of cooperation. No matter. I'm sure that by now, half the population really believe he was impeached for receiving fellatio in the White House and that the investigation was just a witch hunt by the Republicans. Another lie - but what can you expect? Lies are the left's native tongue.
Just compare DU to FR for examples.
And the BJ was far from the shabbiest thing he did in the Oval Office with her. There were other things, and then there was also the CONTEXT for one of the BJs....enjoyed while he was on the phone with a Congressman discussing sending men into harm’s way( as I remember Clinton was for it). It just doesn’t get any sleazier than that.
The classic Leftist potty mouth. They are like 12-year-old kids that have just learned ‘dirty’ words and think using them (on TV, no less) is the height of sophistication. Idiots.

Nah, half the population don’t believe or know, that he was impeached!
Can you say that on Free Republic?
This whole thing sucks out loud.
An employee sues an executive for sexual harrassment. He perjures himself. A felony — an impeachable offense.
But the lie told by the left is that it was an investigation of a blow job.
sounds like more civility to me
That was the most galling aspect of the sordid affair. If you or I, or any other 'commoner', was caught committing such an offense we'd be fired from our jobs. Different rules for the ruling class though ...
I thought we had a Revolution in 1776 to free us from this double-standard nonsense -- but instead it just gets worse every year.
“Can you say that on Free Republic?’’ Seems you just did. Can you say ‘’bobbing the knob’’ on FR?
Jones, an Arkansas state employee was called to then Governor Clintoon’s hotel room where, she alleges, he exposed himself and requested her to “kiss it”.
That kind of allegation would END the career of anyone in the private sector.
Who expects class and dignity from anyone on MSNBC or CNN for that matter.
I knew a fella, Tio......
