As much as resentment towards Israel or the US, or the violence by Mubaraks security services and the state police are mentioned by the protesters, their movement appears to be much more driven by exhaustion at a future that promises nothing to a largely destitute citizenry that doesnt feel they have the ability to support themselves or their families. Among young people especially, the issue of not having a future in the country where they grew up stokes their fury, and drives them to seek the answers in democracy. When asked how democracy will bring prosperity to a country where nearly half the populace lives on less than $2/day, most protesters seemed at a loss for a definitive answer, but all expressed absolute certainty that the removal of Mubarak and his, in their view cleptocratic regime, will surely bring them a greater chance at prosperity.
For Ahmed Khater, a 26-year-old Cairene sitting in the square with the words Mubarak get the hell out written on his forehead, the promise of a better future has never been clearer.
I have a bachelors degree and I get paid 500 pounds a month to be a computer technician. I cant get married, I have no future. Mubaraks people, they just steal our money, they keep everything for themselves and they forget that we are the owners of the country.
We were sleeping until now, but we are awake, Khater added.

“Mubaraks’ people steal our money but it’s STILL the JOOOs fault.”
You’ll be much happier under the MB, homey. Rock on.
“I believe this could be applicable anywhere the government has been influenced by libs.”
Excellent!!
” When asked how democracy will bring prosperity to a country “
Dunno - maybe someday we’ll try it, and then we’ll let ya know....
MORE CAMELS. MORE HORSES. CRUSH THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD JIHADISTS!
Bibi knew who and what Zero was before the 08 election. Bibi is no fool unlike many in the US Congress.
IMO, Liberal Jews and the likes of Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, Waxman et al. show one and all what Kapos are. In my opinion, they sold their souls to Satan for power.
I hope he notices that Egypt has no oil to speak of, and this is why it’s unrealistic to expect a Moosified Egypt to reach modern prosperity levels. There are only so many carpets you can make and sell.
Sell the Sphynx. There’s only one of them.
“Bibi” may just yet save the world!!! One attack by Obama’s Muslim brothers & buddies on Israel and the Middle east will become a “glass factory” of nuclear waste!!!
I wonder if the versions we sold them have the cut off switches in their software. We would be fools to sell them the 100% real deal. Good to shoot up anyone else, but not us.
Chances are they’re going ot blow up the pyramids anyway, might as well do it ourselves.
On E-Bay?
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Enough time has passed that many if not most Egyptians have no memory of repeatedly having their @sses kicked by Israel.
To a certain extent he's right. Jimmeh's crowning achievement was little more than bribes to Egypt and Israel to "play nice." If the Brotherhood takes over can we stop sending free money to Egypt?

Hmmm is he referring to British pounds? I presume that he used this since it would be a well-known standard and not some obscure Egyptian currency with which no one is familiar?
A couple of points here - first - getting a college education does not necessarily guarantee a prosperous life and a good job. If your society doesn't have respect for Natural Law, especially regarding property rights, your economy will not support very many educated professionals, especially if the education does not involve directly marketable skills such as business or engineering, along with an economy that can make use of those skills.
Secondly, that remark about "owning the country" is very troublesome - no one can "own" a country. One owns property. The idea of whoever controls the legal apparatus "owns" the country will prevent any real development in Egypt - or any other portion of Chaosstan.
Egyptian currency is called the pound, holdover from when the British ruled the region after WWI. It is not tied to the British pound though. 500 Egyptian Pounds is about 85 US Dollars.
These people are nucking futs.
“they just steal our money, they keep everything for themselves and they forget that we are the owners of the country. We were sleeping until now, but we are awake.
Hmmm, sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Yes, your last statement was right.
Interesting that the libs support the above sentiments from protesters in Egypt, but vilify the tea party movement and all conservatives for stating same.
“One attack by Obamas Muslim brothers & buddies on Israel and the Middle east will become a glass factory of nuclear waste!!!”
Do you really think so? A Muslim nuke strike could take out the entirety of Israel, I fear.
