There is nothing per se wrong with diplomats talking to people. As long as they aren’t making secret deals.

“Isn’t that what an Ambassador & his/her staff are there for ?”

To meet with a group that was banned from Egyptian politics, and has recently announced that its purpose was to “wage Jihad” against our country??

True, but Rep Price is quite the obediant leftist. He has a history of communications with the Brotherhood. I wouldn’t trust that he’s there just talking.

Agreed. I wasn’t even thinking in terms of birth certificate.....People need to know about Rasheed Khalidi, Cass Sunstein, Mark Lloyd, Frank Marshall Davis, Jeffrey Jones, John Holdren, on and on, and of course, the un-sanitized versions of Ayers, Wright, Bernardine Dohrn, Van Jones, on and on....

So true.

Check out Drudge Headlines. Interesting how he has the headlines stacked. Including this article. Paints a picture of Obama Islam activism. (IMO)

Thank you. I am so disturbed by this whole thing that I have lost access to all my creative processes.

There was a story circulating around the embassy in Lusaka in 1983. Amb. Frank Wisner had left the year before. The story (unconfirmed) held that Wisner was on a 17’ outboard on one of the many tributaries of the Zambesi River. He was with two Zambian hunters, and they encountered a monster croc. If what I heard was true, Wisner shot the brute several times with a shotgun. The Zambians wrestled it into the boat and were going to skin it. Ole Bre’r Croc wasn’t quite finished yet and got loose and was going to kill the Ambassador. One of the Zambians managed to shoot it in the head with a hand gun, finally dispatching the croc. Anyway, that’s the tale I heard at the Marine House there in Mar 1983.

Granted he’s no worst-case scenario by any means, but Drudge saw fit to post this, as well...

We should demand that any food help that we give Egypt be delivered by U.S. Christian organizations...

Great idea; all aid of any sort from the U.S. should be so delivered.

The Muslim Brotherhood seeks to spread Islam around the world, in large part using nonviolent means.

It is that smaller, included part that raises a serious issue:

Qur'an:8:39"Fight them until all opposition ends and all submit to Allah."

Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

Qur'an:9:29 "Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission."

Qur'an:9:123 "Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you."

Qur'an:47:4"When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle, smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them…Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam."

Yep. And here’s what the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie said in October 2010:

- “Arab and Muslim regimes are betraying their people by failing to confront the Muslim’s real enemies, not only Israel but also the United States. Waging jihad against both of these infidels is a commandment of Allah that cannot be disregarded. Governments have no right to stop their people from fighting the United States. “They are disregarding Allah’s commandment to wage jihad for His sake with [their] money and [their] lives, so that Allah’s word will reign supreme” over all non-Muslims.”

- “All Muslims are required by their religion to fight: “They crucially need to understand that the improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death just as the enemies pursue life.”

Not at all surprising, I suspect we want their participation in future elections, how else can the success of Gaza repeat. And yes, GWB pushed for this too, though out of a naive sense of democracy=elections, the terrorists will lose. I suspect this administration anticipates the empowerment of the MB. Maybe I'll post some old MB articles, since the media is annointing them moderates, or ping some old threads here if I can find them.

Did Drudge have better sourcing on this than WND? Or was he running the same report? It’s not like Drudge hasn’t been burned by reporting items without getting corroboration.
