The eruption in Egypt has left White House officials scrambling to manage a major international crisis after briefly enjoying their best run in more than a year.
Were struggling to figure all this out, said a top official who was among the many White House advisers who spent the weekend calibrating the public and private diplomacy. President Barack Obamas closest aides are buoyed by a political resurgence, an embryonic but apparently real economic recovery and a White House reorganization that most West Wingers applaud.
But now these officials fret that new instability in the Middle East could distract from the jobs and innovation message that the president started pushing in his State of the Union address; dim hopes for a breakthrough in the peace process; and, most worrisome of all, stall the economy if the revolutionary tsunami spreads to other Arabian states, driving up the price of oil.

struggling ? that’s comforting.
What a pitiful reaction.

Hey, they're carrying on with the struggle.
I don’t envy them, this doesn’t happen every day. I hope they are calling all the ex-presidents and advisers for one helluva ‘WTF is going on?’ meeting?
Well, I don’t think that Team Obama knows what to do in this crisis. Even though he has Hillary on his team, and her ability to answer the 3 a.m. phone call about a crisis, they don’t grasp what’s happening.
Hillary urged restraint on both sides. That’s all the smartest woman in the world has to say.
In the worst case, Egypt becomes Obama’s version of Jimmy Carter and Iran. Let’s hope and pray for a better outcome.
Why don't they just offer everyone some ice cream and pie?

Then why did the WH help their leftist pals and Soros orchestrate the whole thing? Isn’t this what they wanted?
Go figure..(eye roll)

Say what? All this time I thought they (the Oh no bama clan)were total loosers and the economy was still in the toilet. How could I have been so wrong?
They were about 3 days late to the party, as usual.
They just noticed they were supposed to do something?
well, it looks like Obummer should have a Jack Daniels summit! (instead of a simple beer summit)

translation...we’re scared to death that this will kill Obama’s re-election.
White House scrambles because Mubarak is still in power
International crises come after basketball, golf, ice cream, and lavish parties in this regime.
You beat me too it!
I was going to say it looks like it’s time for another beer summit!!
