There’s nothing that can be done now except evacuate.
And blame the Republicans, like with every other crisis the Obama Administration had to face. (”It’s not our fault, we inherited this mess”)
Actually just the threat of storming ashore might quiet things down domestically on their end despite the political noise it would cause for us. Egyptians would have to choose...unity in the face of a potential invasion threat or having their country taken from them while they fought amonst themselves! They do have to worry about Israel taking back the Sinai during that conflict and can’t counter that fact when they are having a civil war(even if one side loses, emotional healing and unity doesn’t happen over night)
