You don't have to describe the subject of the process, but exactly how the FSO's exceeded their authority in whatever venue this took place. Who made the final decision? The Ambassador? DOD?

I don't want the specific facts of the issue, just the venue and what the process was. Was a proposal made at a country team meeting at the Embassy and the pol mil officer offered his comments and recommendations? Was the Ambassador or DCM presiding at the meeting? Who made the decision?

I am willing to defer to you on many issues with respect to the Department of State because of your career there but I am not willing to abandon common sense and say that the Department of State has not been undermining Republican presidents for at least a generation and probably going back to Eisenhower. Do you disagree with that? That is my definition of a rogue agency.

Many think the Wikileaks traitor is in the State Department - google it yourself. The cables were not from Banning, investigators have found. In fact just google “traitors in the State Department” for the long, sordid history of the State Department's leftist traitors who have been undermining Republican ideology for a long, long time.
I worked for the government for alot of years, too and I know that the employees of the Departments don't necessarily change their minds and opinions with a new administration's policy.
I know for a fact they will half heartily implement policy they don't like. They argue against it, and resist it and they will make it look bad when they won't get caught. They will bad mouth to colleagues they deal with outside the department in secret, policies they think are stupid or evil according to their own political/social ideology.
You representing here that this NEVER happens at the State Department is laughable to anyone who has worked in the government and been breathing longer than 40 years. The State Department is one of the most political organizations in the government.
Foreign entanglements make for some nasty opportunity for treason and why the Founding Fathers warned that we should limit our foreign entanglements if we want the constitutional republic to survive. The State Department proves them right.
With “consensus” there is no personal responsibility: “Me? Not me. I wasn’t my fault. Everybody else made the decision.”

And who decides whether something is approved or not? Who made the decision in the case you cited? And who provided input?
Why are you trying to get this guy to name names and such so you can identify him? If you think you are going to get away with winning a debate because someone won’t share identifying details or documentation of their personal experience or personal life, you are going to fail in internet forums.
Just because you worked in the State Department, don’t think you are an expert on everything that happens with everyone in the State Department. You are an honest and straight forward professional guy; but you are not everyone in the State Department and knowledgeable of every interaction. Leftists are anti-American termites and they are in the State Department.
Don’t be giving out personal details about yourself on public forums, either, even if some idiot demands it of you to back up the professional experience you share. I’ve seen some wild things on the internet. People will read what you wrote and decide w/o documentation if you are for real or not. Same with everyone else. It is important to respect one another in that way.
Which is why Obama and his Czars want to order that everyone use their names in internet communications. That way you might be intimidated in sharing critism of the government for fear of naming names and getting people or businesses hurt. Don’t want the IRS, Acorn or Move-on (Soros) on your doorstep or calling your employer in the morning...

I completely agree that Hillary doesn’t hate the USA with anywhere near the intensity that the Obamas do, but she and her consort did many things that badly harmed the US and continue to do so.
Also agree that the “Smartest Woman in the World” is just not too bright! I can see it happening. She bought into the lefty’s BS in school and was RUTHLESS in promoting that BS and thus was pronounced “brilliant” and was given opportunities—lots of opportunities.
