Stick a fork in him. George W. Bush is done with politics.
The ex-President told C-SPAN he has no plans to raise cash, stump for Republican candidates and even appear on television.

Given two more years of 0bama or heaven forbid six more years, 1,000 acres in Paraguay sounds good to me.
Tell that to the tens of thousands Americans robbed, raped, murdered and maimed by millions of illegal aliens that entered during the Bush administration, while he publicly aided and abetted this epic invasion of our country.
He ought to care, because if Obama and Rahm and their ilk gain permanent sway in this country, W will end up in jail on some trumped-up, Tom Delay type charge.
You voted for Al Gore?
And helped give us maobama.
You voted for Al Gore?
This is the type of response I'd expect from a Bush supporter... I voted for neither...
Ya see, I don't compromise my principles...
How about you?
What was the available remedy?
“Which is exactly what former Presidents have been doing until Carter and Clinton decided they were above 200 plus years of precedence.”
That’s because Carter and Clinton were not really Presidents. Past oval office holders had respect for the office, some class (except for maybe Johnson), and dignity (see Johnson again). Carter and Clinton have none of these qualities. They are crass, obnoxious, arrogant, gas bags who think that their crap doesn’t stink. They have long passed their moments of fame and are desperately trying to hold on to it. What’s worse, as they get a realization that the fame is no longer there, they get more and more desperate (see Carter and his moronic statements for the last 20 years).
Politics are one thing. Religion is another.
Have you read the Bible? In politics I choose the lesser of two evils. In matters of faith, there is no such choice.
I’ll die first.
You voted for Bush, a non-conservative?
double ditto -
Most of the responses here are making me puke
If nothing else, all you jask as*s - answer this: Where would webe now of o’bummer had been pres on 9-11 - or anyone else you can think of.
You people make me sick -
I choose the lesser of two evils
What a surprise...
Between Sasha’s basketball games and hitting the baskin robbins?
You obviously have earned conservative points on earth.
That is not the end game, IMHO.
Peace.
“Bush was one of our greatest Presidents in history ...”
Bush was a mediocre president who got caught up in an unpopular war. I do not fault Bush for his decision to go to war. The aftermath was difficult although Bush demonstrated conviction with the surge. Most people give Bush poor grades becauseo of the war. I dn not however.
I question his judgment about budgets, energy, campaign finance, taxes, and dealing with Democrats. Signing the campaign finance bill was idiotic. Bush had extreme naivity about dealing with the treasonous rats. The rats showed their true colors and used the war to take Bush down. Bush signed some terrible energy bills. He even signed a terrible Consumer Products Safety bill. Bush never changed the horrible Title IX law that forces quotas on college athletic scholarships.
Dubya was more a pragmatist than a conservative. However I will always remember the dignity he brought to the White House, even when he made bad political choices.
Peace? End game? The bible?
This is getting really dramatic...
Do you hear voices?
Only yours at the moment.
Who is your ideal candidate at this moment in time?
I type and you hear my voice?
Hmmm..
Who is your ideal candidate at this moment in time?
Since you can hear my voice, can you hear me thinking it?
You are wanting to pick a fight over conservatism; who is the most for longest or whatever.
I came to conservatism through faith in Jesus Christ. He comes first, the Cross, then the Flag.
Take that where you want.
