There is plenty of blame to go around. We have been supporting Mubarak since Sadat was killed in 1981. Since the president is in charge of foreign policy, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush & Obama all have to take a hit on this one. Supporting a dictator with billions of taxpayer money for 30 years is nothing more than inviting a fundamentalist Islamic take over. History repeating itself. Can anyone say the Shah of Iran?
