Great.
Well, this will get very interesting soon.
There is no doubt that our policy in the middle east has long been at odds with our own values. In that dangerous neighborhood we have long opted for stability over liberty.
Pretty lame looking protest.
LOL
Drill Baby Drill!!!!
Lebanon was the starting point. Hizbollah gained a recent victory in the government. Do not be fooled: this is completely orchestrated by Hez and the puppet who pulls their strings: Ahimanutjob.
We may have no choice but to go to Compressed Natural Gas powered vehicles, which is fine. Honda makes a CNG powered Civic that gets the equivalent of 40 MPG. Many city, state and utility vehicle fleets already run on CNG.
All Obama has to do is create an Executive Order requiring ALL Federal vehicles to be CNG powered. Since the Federales purchase the largest vehicle fleets, Ford, GM and Chrysler would have CNG vehicles available for the consumer. We can then tell the Middle East, Chavez, and the rest of the foreign producers to shove it.
That they are protesting at all is shocking given their income/economy but give it time this is spreading like a wild fire on a very windy day. The Tunisian riots started via Facebook just like these are. They are also fighting flooding that has killed a few people.
Old, but that’s all I could find. Well over $3 in the tri-state area too. Makes you wonder about the times when $2.50 was considered a lot
Iran must be killed.
The Gulf Arabs must attack and kill Iran ASAP
Many Brits have already converted their vehicles to CNG.
There is no way for me to verify what they are protesting from the video.
“Russia also has a lot to loose from these revolutions. They dont want an even more unstable ME on their door step.”
ME is not on Russia’s door step at all. US controls ME now and stability means lower oil prices. Instability is the total opposite and Russia might even gain some friends in the process.
My knee-jerk reaction is: PROPAGANDA!!!
Disclaimer: Unless things are much, MUCH worse than we know.
Declare a national emergency, suspend all regulations and drill baby drill!!
Good. The sooner we are done with the ‘our dear friends, the saudis’ charade, the better.

The big difference between Saudi Arabia and the other Islamic nations that are in revolt.....is that the Saudi’s have an extensive welfare network that keeps dissent down. Too many Saudi’s are fat and unmotivated....and know that a revolution means they will lose their government handouts.
Also, in Saudi Arabia, they would also have to overthrow the Ulema....the religious police. The Saudi royals rule based on an agreement with the Islamic Ulema....the royals run the secular parts of Saudi...while the Ulema handle the religious. Any Saudi revolution would have to overthrow both the royal family and Ulema. The Ulema response would be more drastic than the Saudi royals to any revolution
