Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton talked about U.S. national security challenges. In his remarks he sharply criticized President Obamas policies on the new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) with Russia, Chinese Hu Jintaos recent state visit the U.S., relations with North Korea, and economic sanctions against Iran. He responded to audience members' questions.

There are several potential Republican presidential candidates who I think are alright on domestic policy; there's only one so far - John Bolton - who I trust on both domestic and foreign policy. If he decides to run.
he definitely is the man when it comes to foreign policy. I would be very comfortable with him at the helm. I would love to see him debate Obama on foreign policy.
Secretary of State would have everybody in the world messing their pants.
I love that man!
Bump! Bolton is the man of the hour! Never hear him mentioned as a 2012 candidate but he would be a great choice.
>> who I trust on both domestic
As far as I’m concerned, he’s a Centrist on domestic. I still have tremendous respect for him, however, concerning things beyond the border.
Google it! Bolton has stated in some interviews that he’s considering a run.
With the resurgence of liberty caused by the Tea Party, domestic concerns have been at the forefront for all of us - quite understandably. But we still live in a world where technology allows smaller and smaller groups of people to deploy greater and greater lethality. (And I’m not just talking about nukes, but bio-weapons too.) Bolton seems to be the best man to handle the dangers of both State and non-State terrorist actors.
I happened to flip CSPAN on right after this started and sat mesmerized for an hour as he deftly summarized every single major foreign policy challenge facing the U.S. - and how Obama is handling them 100% wrong. It was stunning. The man is brilliant.
Bolton would make a great president.
. . . and how Obama is handling them 100% wrong the way any Marxist would.

Talk of a Bolton candidacy indicates he is willing to campaign for the nominee and is seeking a position in that administration.

John Bolton certainly has a good grasp on foreign policy. I salute him for it. But, after Obama we need a person who can clean up that domestic disaster and let our enimies know we are back.
Thanks for the link. The sooner Bolton becomes Secretary of State, the better.
I heard a while back that he was considering running.....a Bolton/West ticket would be awesome.
“But, after Obama we need a person who can clean up that domestic disaster and let our enimies know we are back.”
I agree. Bolton would make a strong Veep (a la Dick Cheney) or SOS, but he doesn’t have either the domestic policy or administrative experience one would want in a president.
I would certainly vote for him.
John Bolton, unlike the undocumented Iman pRes_ _ent Obama,
actually has a BIRTH CERTIFICATE and cares about
America and Americans.
Agree. And yes, debate Obama and if 'not possible, should TOTUS not be available' take on one, more or Obama's entire team - those visible, of course.
We know 'that' will never happen, unfortunately. Standing up to authentic political wisdom and those who flawlessly articulate it; is not what these people do; ever. . .
While I agree that VP would be more realistic; I would be happy to have him in either position. (Do think his ‘Administrative Experience’ a non-issue given his impessive resume.)
He has a brilliant mind in regards to external issues, but that does not translate to expertise on domestic issues or political skills.
IMO, it would be like trying to fit a round peg into a square hole.
