“If I recall correctly, the Washington Post and Newsweek magazine had the Monica Lewinsky story for months, but, they sat on that story. They didn’t want to publish it.”

Exactly. They sat on the story of Clinton’s violent rape of Juanita Brodderick for even longer. Then, when she did an interview detailing the attack.....the SRM. The Networks and the printed press never touched the story.......only to debunk it.

NBC Dateline with Lisa Meyers covered it. I thought she did a real good coverage of it. NBC Dateline

Prior to Lewinski being outed I was in LA on business and saw a Local station spike the Brodderick story, about a year before we knew her name.

I got out of work, went back to the Hotel. Turn on the News, and they say “News at 5:00, this man (I think showing still photo of Broddericks Friend) says Clinton raped some woman. Stay tuned for details”. So I then watch the local broadcast to completion, and never saw the story. I then knew that there was a rape victim and the story was being spiked. It was shocking. Never forgot it, and When Broderick came out a year later, I thought, wow, she was the one.

I guarantee Clintons people called the station and threatened them, and that's why the story got yanked.
