Of the two businessmen likely to be in the field for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, long-shot Herman Cain, savior of the Godfathers Pizza chain, makes the case that he is far more electable than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the presumptive front-runner in the race.
Mr. Cain, whose bid has generated a surprising buzz in conservative circles, said in an interview that he admires Mr. Romneys business acumen and supported the former governors failed 2008 bid, but Mr. Cain argued that he possessed a greater ability to connect with voters and make things happen.
Romney is a successful businessman who made a whole lot of money, and my hats off to him. I like people to make money, said Mr. Cain, whose varied resume includes a stint as chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank, a widely praised turnaround job at the Pillsbury-owned Godfathers chain, a term as head of the National Restaurant Association and host of a radio talk show in Atlanta.

LOL
ABC - America, Bolton, Cain
You know, there really are some interesting prospects for the next election, IF we can only stop the ‘don’t even let anyone else run’ crowd. :<)
I could go with both on the ticket, Cain and Bolten. Just what is needed, a real breath of fresh air.
He supported Romney in 2008? He praises him now?
I liked the guy until I read this article, now I have questions.
He’s coming to Iowa and I’ve heard he’s holding a rally at the local Hy-Vee deli!
Could have been worse. He could have supported McCain over a real conservative anti-amnesty opponent in 2010 and declared to America that McCain was a genuine tea party guy.
Hey, MissB, how you doing?
To tell the truth I had heard the name but didn’t know much about him. I just watched a few vids of him and he is definately presidential timber. If obama had wisdom, national pride, successful business experience, and two US citizens as parents, they might have something in common.
I like him very much. A man with convictions and stellar business acumen.
If he revitalized a pizza chain, he could liekly do the same with the country.

I don’t know, sounds like he’s missing the nuveau and all important ‘Community Organizer’ qualification to even seek the office of POTUS...
