On Wednesday, Meghan McCain leveled an attack against Rep. Michele Bachmann on MSNBC, calling her a “poor man’s Sarah Palin.” One night later on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham fired back.
Host Bill O’Reilly was attempting to point out the so-called divide in the Republican Party between the grassroots Tea Party portion and the entrenched establishment represented by Meghan McCain and Karl Rove, according to O’Reilly. However, Ingraham objected to McCain’s classification.
“Bill, are you serious? I can’t agree – are you serious with that?” Ingraham said. “The only reason Meghan McCain is getting any traction, you know God bless her, is because of her last name. I mean Meghan McCain, maybe she is a poor man’s Ron Reagan. I mean, you called her a moderate Republican. Why is she a moderate Republican? Is there any indication that she is a Republican?”

Meghan McCain, who calls herself a “progressive Republican,” implored Republicans to “stop being so stubborn and closed-minded.”
Throughout the night, McCain was critical of right-wing pundits, telling the audience, “I’m not Ann Coulter, I’m not Glenn Beck … I’m not trying to get my own show on Fox … I’m adamantly against hate-mongering.”
There is “no place for the nasty Laura Ingrahams and Ann Coulters,” McCain said, briefly touching on a spat she had with Ingraham last year.
In a March 2009 Daily Beast column, McCain said of Coulter: “I straight up don’t understand this woman or her popularity. I find her offensive, radical, insulting, and confusing all at the same time.” Ingraham responded, calling McCain “just another Valley Girl gone awry” and “plus-sized.” Co-hosting ABC’s The View a few days later, McCain told Laura Ingraham, “Kiss my fat ass!”

BOR kept trying to tell Ingraham what she wanted to say, in his mind that is. He kept cutting her short and I was hoping she would say, shut the hell up you moron and stop interfering with my commentary. Wanna bet Laura will not be hosting the show anytime soon? Just like Malkin who never appears there after standing up this brilliance, she will be seen infrequently.
This is just one example of why I no longer watch him.
I DVR the show only to fast-forward to the segments with Bernie Goldberg and Dennis Miller.
One of the great things about NOT electing John McCain is the marginalization of Meghan.
At least Obama admits he’s on the left.
Meghan McCain in is a good substitute for ipecac.
I turned it off right after that segment which I do frequently when his brilliance begins another of his middle of the road I am so smart spots.
Meanwhile, I believe his brilliance is interviewing the Kenyan before the super bowl. I strongly encourage anyone not needing to buy a new TV set to not watch it.

I rarely watch BOR anymore, he has lost his way, seems to me that as soon as his Sexual Harrassment case was over and he had paid these women off, he went soft and has slowly been going to the dark side, If Meghan McLame’s father wasn’t a Powerful Member of the Leadership of the Communist Party the media would not give her the time of day.
