I broke down crying because there was a loaded gun in my hands

That's a little dramatic.

If she was so traumatized why the heck did she pick it up?

More proof that every person should receive basic firearm safety. Think of the children after all.

Very dramatic.

It also brings up the question: How did this drama queen - so terrified and horrified by a gun - even know it WAS loaded?

I can’t imagine such a ditz would know how to check the clip (if it had one) or inspect the chambers.

re: broke down crying

Shakes head in disgust. Makes me love my wife even more. She would have just kept it and not said a damn thing.

“I kept yanking, and yanking, and yanking because I could feel something.”

It’s a good thing I knew she was talking about a weapon. I had conjured up in my mind that she was talking about something else.
