I’ll wager you they’d have no problem with paying Ted Bundy to discuss child rape.

Student government sources said they were asked not to divulge Palin’s fee, but said it would have been $15,000 to $30,000. ...................... Ewwwwwwww! sounds like more knots for the Libs panties.

Heh, heh, there they go again. It’s just college students showing their Liberal tolerance for diversity of opinion. NOT!

I would hazard a guess that it was not the students (i.e., “undergraduates”) that had a problem with Bristol appearing; rather, it was the administration, faculty, and staff of the university.

Can’t deviate from the party line, y’know.

I’ve got no problem with Bristol Palin.

I do have a problem with the kind of “student fees” behind this fiasco - they’re routinely assessed of all students across the board at most universities, and then “student activity boards” (run by typical student government-type tools) and / or administrative committees dole out the accumulated money to all sorts of speakers and entertainers, as well as favored student activity groups.

If you’re a student, you’re generally forced to pay for this stuff, even if you think it’s mostly crap (which it often is). Let the lousy student organizations collect money from their own members, invite whom they please, and leave everybody else alone.

This isn't a matter of censorship like the David Horowitz/Ann Coulter issues.

I got to question the wisdom of paying Bristol Palin $20 G to talk about teen pregnancy.

What's she going to say? Don't have a baby out-of-wedlock as a teenager or you will have to take a $20 G an hour job telling college kids not to have babies out of wedlock as teenagers?

RE :”Anger over a decision to pay Bristol Palin several thousand dollars in student fees to talk to Washington University students about abstinence led to a decision Thursday night to nix Palin’s appearance on a panel here next month.

Does this make any sense?
