Haven’t watched and won’t watch it.

And the obvious is totally lost on the libs who write this.

Blacks are so dumb, so incapable and so stupid that ONLY a white person can save them.

This might be a good thread to catalog the legions of other Hollywood character cliches. I’ll start:

Incompetent Dad — bungling oaf who’s lucky he can mow the lawn without cutting off a toe. Dangerous in the kitchen and pathetic in the bedroom. Without his wife and kids doing his thinking for him, he’d drown taking a shower.

Superwoman — Look! Up in the boardroom! It’s a bird ... It’s a plane! No, it’s Superwoman. Faster than a speeding eight-year-old, more powerful than an oil-company lobbyist, able to leap patriarchal boundaries at a single bound ... Combination of supermodel, gourmet chef, pole dancer, union organizer, calculus tutor, and legal consultant, neither her mascara nor her principles ever run.

Cletus the Slack-jawed Conservative — denizen of Red State America, he has never attended an Ivy League college, doesn’t read Pablo Neruda, and prefers Schlitz to chablis. Drives a pickup (usually into things), kills furry woodland creatures, and resolves every conflict by either hitting someone or abusing a victim group.

Simon Lagree Capitalist — the Monopoly moneybags guy who lights his country-club stogies with C-notes he got selling Tiny Tim’s crutch for firewood.

Others?

I watched the first 25 minutes or so of the first show to see what it was like and I expected a liberal bias.

I thought the show initially was going “okay” then Kathy Bates’ started a rant about Limbaugh, the right and Republicans...

I turned the channel at that point.

Needless to say I won’t waste another 25 minutes on that show.

These legal shows are all embarrassingly bad. They ought to make one reflective of the legal profession’s current and future reality (too many schools producing too many grads for an absolutely saturated market). They could call it “Do you want fries with that?” The one good thing about the show, The Practice, was that lawyers were for the most part depicted as what the overwhelming majority of them are: middle class working stiffs.

Saying a network program is ‘claptrap’ is being redundant. I watched CBS for the last time last Sunday for the Jets-Steelers game and I don’t anticipate watching it again until next football season.

Couldn’t spare the time to watch this crap last night. Wednesday nights is “Night at the Range” night on the Outdoor channel. The night they have all of their gun shows. Shooting Gallery, Best Defense, American Rifleman TV, Shooting USA, Cowboys, etc.

I will watch these shows over anything on NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS or even Fox. Love my gun shows.

but I quickly figured out that Harry (Bates' character) left a high-powered position at a respectable law firm to open a storefront in the ghetto. This is a favorite story-line for the Left. They only love lawyers when they defend guilty criminals for free. Prosecutors need not apply.

Objection! The Law & Order shows are all about prosecutors andf totally libtastic. In fact, there have been more instances of anti-abortion violence on those shows than in the real world.

As for Harry's Law being liberal claptrap...c'mon, it's David E. Kelley, the guy who brought us "busing hundreds of black kids from inner city Green Bay" on Picket Fences. For those who don't get what I mean, there are almost no black fols in Green Bay and no "inner city" anyone would need to be bussed out of.
